Bio40-ish, married, mom of the world's two most wonderful boys. At first I was nervous about raising a boy, never having had brothers, but by the time we found out that #2 would be another boy, I was more nervous about the prospect of having a girl! Hubby says that this is because I live "boy" and put on "girl" when the situation requires. Go figure.
Someday, perhaps I'll be able to recapture the athletic glory of my youth (competitive fencing, long-distance bicycling) but until then, I'll be happy to get my exercise by chasing the kids around the backyard and playing ball with them. There's too much life to be lived to get back "into shape" (although I have recently started counting calories in a serious effort to shed some pounds). I'm definitely of the mind that you should live within reason and take it from there. Few things that don't involve my family are worth bending over backwards for.
That said, I wish I had more time to work on the novel I'm co-authoring, and the spin-off, and... There are just too many things to do and enjoy in this world! How does one pick?
Oh yeah, I work for a company that manages clinical trials for biotech firms, doing data integration. Yee hah.
